Shenshen is the Bard-CEU Program Coordinator, based in Budapest. Shenshen earned her BA and MA degrees in English Language and Literature, and in Media Studies, at Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest. As a student, she participated in the Erasmus program for a semester in Greece, and a year-long fellowship at Bard College in New York. Shenshen is a native speaker of Hungarian and Chinese and is a trained simultaneous interpreter (Hungarian - English). Prior to joining CEU, Shenshen has worked as a teacher, translator, interpreter, and administrator within Hungarian higher education. She brings a wealth of experience in youth leadership, cross-cultural training, internship and conference participation, and debate to the position. Contact information at CEU:

Jen is the Associate Director at the Institute for International Liberal Education at Bard College, where she oversees recruitment, admissions, and student welfare for Bard Abroad programs in Germany, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and the West Bank as well as Bard-based exchanges with international partners. Jen earned her BA in English at Rutgers and MS Ed at Baruch College. She has held admissions and international student affairs positions at SUNY Ulster, Bard Center for Environmental Policy, School of Visual Arts, and Hunter College. Jen began her career in international higher education at the University of Pecs in Hungary as an English teacher.
