Monica Jitareanu is the Undergraduate Program Coordinator at CEU. She is also a PhD student in Philosophy at Central European University in Budapest. Monica earned a BA in philosophy from the Bucharest University, and had a research scholarship at the University of Toronto. Before coming to CEU, she worked as a journalist for various Romanian magazines and newspapers, as well as a translator and editor for some of the major Romanian publishing houses. In Budapest, she taught at the CEU Business School. She is a Member of Budapest Mind Society, and of ESAP European Society for the Analytic Philosophy.

Maciej Bartkowski is the Central European University Director of Recruitment for North America and the International Studies Coordinator/Lecturer at Bard College. Maciej studied at Warsaw University, University of Arizona in Tucson, earned B.A. in Comparative Politics and International Relations with honors from American Universtiy in Kyrgyzstan and M.A. and Ph.D. in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University in Budapest. Before joining Bard College, Maciej taught at the Odessa National University, OSCE Academy in Bishkek and Central European University, worked as a lecturer and interview consultant for the OSI Undergraduate Exchange Program, European Union election observer in Lebanon and reseach intern at the Geneva Center for Security Policy in Geneva.

Karl Hall is the Academic Director of Undergraduate Program at CEU. Karl earned B.S. in Physics and B.A. in History with honors and Ph.D. in History of Science from Harvard University. Karl is currently Assistant Professor at History Department in CEU where he has taught the courses: Topics in Intellectual History of Central and Eastern Europe in the Twentieth Century; Expert Knowledge; Cultural History of Science and Technology in the Twentieth Century. His main research interest includes: History of the modern physical sciences, History of Russian and Soviet science, Modern Russian cultural and intellectual history, European intellectual history. Karl is fluent in Russian and Hungarian.

Andrea Matolcsi is the Project Manger at Human Rights Students' Initiative at CEU responsible for managing the Service Learning (internship) Program in Budapest. Andrea received her B.A.’s in International Relations and in German from the University of California in Davis. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Budapest (ELTE, CEU) and in Germany (Georg-August University in Göttingen, Free University and Humboldt University in Berlin). During her undergraduate years, she held various internships while studying abroad, including at the German Parliament, the Collegium Hungaricum in Berlin, and the Hungarian Helsinki Committee in Budapest. In 2006 she received her M.A. in International Relations and European Studies from CEU.
