CEU Research Centers complement research and teaching activities, enhancing interdisciplinary connections and integrating academic and policy-relevant activities. CEU Research Centers operate large-scale research projects, organize events, workshops and conferences, and offer fellowships.

The Open Society Archives

The Open Society Archives (OSA) saves, processes, and makes available materials of legendary “enemy” radio: Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty. OSA’s collection is one of the largest communism and the Cold War archives, with one of the most significant human rights materials collections in the region.
